Sumptuous Jaguar XJ flagship

It's the cat that's got the cream! One of the stars of the Jaguar stand at the New York Motor Show was the sumptuous XJ Portfolio.
Based on the long wheel base evolution of the XJ, the car gets distinctive metallic paint, plus extra chrome detailing over lesser variants. Like the recently revealed XKR-S the car also gets distinctive heritage badging in the centre of its 20 inch wheels - based the logo originally applied to its 1950s racers.
The flagship XJ is powered by a 400bhp 4.2-litre supercharged V8, connected to the firms six speed gearbox. Inside, drivers are also offered black leather trim with contrasting cream piping, as well as a full touch screen multimedia control system. The car will go on sale in the UK next month.
