Introduced in 1967, the legendary muscle car became the must-have performance car on the streets of America. With powerful V8 engines putting out as much as 425bhp, the Chevy was king of the illegal street drag-racing scene.
Through the Eighties and Nineties emissions and safety legislation turned the Camaro into a shadow of its former self.
But the new car should change all that. With stunning looks and a rumoured 500bhp it will once again rule the road.
