Cloth’s a clean sweep
Here's a cloth that soaks up the cleaning pressure.

Drying your car after washing is usually essential if you want to avoid unsightly water marks. But it can be a frustrating chore – you need to wring out your chamois repeatedly, and damp traces can still be left behind. Thankfully, the new One Pass Towel from Race Glaze makes life a lot easier.
This microfibre cloth promises to soak up all the surface water in only one sweep, so you needn’t go over the same area repeatedly. And in our test, these claims rang true – it shifted more water than a leather chamois or a conventional microfibre cloth.
Absorption was staggering, with the One Pass swallowing up four times its weight in water and leaving no residue on the roof of our test car. It sped up the job no end, and you can actually feel the towel taking on the fluid instantly as you move it around the surface.
The cloth’s construction draws dirt and dust away to ensure you don’t scratch your paintwork, and as it measures more than half-a-metre square in size, there is plenty of coverage.
To get the best results, the maker recommends you run it through your washing machine at least twice after use. And while the initial cost seems high, the One Pass feels durable, so it should last long enough to let you get your money’s worth.
