LED wrench lights up dark garages

You won't have to hold a torch anymore, as these wrenches have built in LEDs

LED wrench

14th April 2008

When working in a dark garage or under your car’s bonnet, you don’t want one of your hands being tied up holding a torch. So these brilliant new tools from Sealey are essential additions to your workshop.

They look like a conventional cranked ratchet, but LEDs in the head shine through the socket so you can see what you’re doing.

The wrenches come in quarter-inch, 3/8-inch and half-inch drives, and are finished in chrome vanadium steel with a sliding on-off switch for the LEDs. A 72-tooth ratchet action lets you tackle jobs where space is tight – all they need is a five-degree swing to work. A rubber coating on the handles aids grip when your hands are cold, wet or greasy, plus there’s a flip reverse lever.
