Auction house reopens its doors

British Car Auctions site back in business following floods.

Auction

22nd April 2008

ItB has taken seven months, but the British Car Auctions site in Tewkesbury is finally reopening. The Gloucestershire site was closed for refurbishment following flooding in the area last year, but resumes trading on 21 April.

“We’re delighted to be back in business,” said operations director Simon Henstock. “But we’re aware that many local residents have yet to return to their homes. Therefore, the proceeds from the first car we sell will be donated to charities who have provided essential help to residents.”
