Pay up or be immobilised! This new invention ensures customers keep up with their finance repayments. It’s installed under the dashboard and flashes as pay day approaches before beeping on the due date. Fall behind, and it will stop your car from starting. The electronic box is known as ‘On Time’ in the US, where it’s compulsory on some car deals. It’s becoming increasingly popular as the credit crisis hits over there, and could be introduced here, too.
