Those that think Chinese car brands can only do dull small saloons or copycat designs need look no further than this stunning GT concept.

Revealed here in Beijing, the striking coupe features sweeping lines and is similar in size to Maserati's GranTurismo. It's powered by a 300bhp 3.5-litre V6, which drives the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic gearbox.

There's no performance data just yet, but expect a 0-60mph time of under 6.0sec and a top speed of 155mph. A production version will be seen at the Shanghai Motor Show in 2009, with sales slated for 2010.
