18th May 2008

Here's your chance to prove yourself on the race track, but only computer game wizards need apply! Nissan has teamed up with Sony and its PlayStation 3 console to give two hopefuls the opportunity to race a 350Z in a 24-hour endurance event in Dubai.

Billed as ‘the ultimate competitive driving test’, GT Academy will pitch entrants from across Europe against each other online using the game GT5 Prologue. The top 20 will then have an on-track assessment at Silverstone in Northants to see if they can translate their skills into real-life ability. Two winners get a four-month training programme to earn their racing licences so they can compete in the Dubai 24 Hours next January. Visit www.playstation.com for details.
