Mama mia! The Italian design houses are at it again. The swooping bodywork on this creation, called the A8 GCS, takes its inspiration from Pininfarina’s Maserati A6 GCS Berlinetta from 1954.

Although it’s only just been unveiled, the mechanics are based on Maserati’s last-generation GranSport coupé, due to the more compact dimensions of the platform.Designers at Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera claim the A8 GCS is ready for a very short production run.
