Child seat a cure for growing pains

car

15th June 2008

Having children can be costly – not least when they grow out of things. So the new adjustable child seat from Sunshine Kids could be just the answer.

It’s suitable for child seat groups 2 and 3, or four-to-11-year-olds weighing up to 36kg and standing 96.5cm to 152cm tall. The width can be increased by 7.6cm, and the backrest has 12 preset positions, which are selected easily with one hand.

Finally, the seat can be taken apart and the base used on its own as a booster cushion. As you’d expect, safety is key, and the seat’s deep side bolsters offer protection from hips to head. These panels incorporate extended polystyrene foam, and the tapered design and full leg support help to maintain comfort even on long journeys.

There are cup-holders either side of the base, each angled to ensure the drink stays upright. But if there are any accidents, the removable cover can be washed. The Monterey comes in red, grey or pink, and clips into Isofix mountings.
