Anything that makes cleaning your car easier has to be a good thing, and that’s just what the latest additions to the Meguiar’s range aim to do.

The NXT Generation 2.0 polish lasts ‘twice as long’, claims the firm, due to its hydrophobic polymer technology.

We compared it with our Issue 995 test winner, Collinite No476S. The original gloss was as deep as our champ’s, while giving the paint a real lift.

After five weeks, the Collinite was still beading as the newcomer faded. But few other rivals lasted as long as the NXT Generation.

Meanwhile, the Tyre Dressing Applicator Pad helped to keep our hands clean – as long as we held it correctly. However, it ensured the tyre shine solution was applied accurately.
