Honda fuel-cell up and running

Honda's first hydrogen powered car has arrived.

Hydrogen-powered cars are here! Honda’s zero-emissions FCX Clarity is now being built, with the first example rolling off the line this week.

The saloon – which emits only water vapour – converts hydrogen into electricity via its fuel cells. This drives a motor. Honda will make 200 models in the next three years for lease to US customers. Early adopters include actress Jamie Lee Curtis.
