Ferrari's new baby, the California, has been caught outdoors for the first time with its electric folding hard-top down.

Due to make its official debut at the Paris Motor Show in October, the model will boast a new 4.3-litre 454bhp V8 engine, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

Meanwhile, Ferrari has also hinted at a super-powerful successor to the Enzo. Boss Luca de Montezemolo this week leaked the news of an 800bhp supercar, which will be based on the MilleChili concept and is set to arrive by 2010.
