A clever piece of kit

Most sat-navs have the option to select between a man or woman giving the directions – but how about a legendary voice that’s instantly recognisable to car fans?

An officially licensed Knight Rider unit, with the original voice of KITT telling you where to turn, has just gone on sale.

The portable set-up – which has the TV show TransAm’s sweeping nose and red light on start-up – costs 0 (£136). The firm behind it, Mio, has mapping for Europe, so it could work in the UK.
