Jabra hands-free earpeice

In-ear hands-free kits can be as ugly as they are technologically advanced, but the new Jabra JX20 Pura reverses this trend. Top designer Jacob Jensen used anodised titanium and gloss black trim to give it a stunning look – and it weighs less than 13g.

A switch built into a rotating earpiece turns the unit on or off, and a white LED relays the status of the gadget to the user. Included in the pack is a pair of gels and hooks to ensure it fits any shape of ear.

When not in use, the Jabra can be charged in-car via the 12V power socket, the supplied USB cable or the stylish desk stand. Background noise is cancelled out by clever Digital Sound Processing technology, while the volume adjusts automatically to ensure it’s at a comfortable level for both callers – no matter how loud either user is speaking.

The device provides a talk time of six hours, and for the fashion-conscious phone user, there is even a matching necklace available as an accessory.
