It’s the latest mule from the prancing horse! This is not a shock replacement for the F430, but another of the one-off ‘speciale’ models the Italian supercar maker occasionally produces for buyers with a big enough wallet. For around £1.5million, a handful of licensed coachbuilders will create an ultra-exclusive car for those collectors who find the ‘basic’ Enzo, 612 Scaglietti or F430 too common. Some parts have to stay the same, such as the front windscreen, while the lights are stock, too.

But the rest of the styling appears to be the work of Italian design house, Fioravanti. It is particularly strong towards the rear, with curves and creases not seen on the standard F430, plus more prominent vents on the shoulders and an all-new rear end. Black detailing and a pair of Ferrari 599 tail-lights complete the look.

To keep the weight down, the roof is finished in carbon fibre, as are the mirrors and side skirts. The enlarged vents also aid performance by increasing engine cooling – although Ferrari dictates that the drivetrains of these one-off models remain untouched.

So while you won’t be able to buy this one, if you save up enough cash, the Italians can create your own speciale!
