It's the throttle pedal that bites back! Continental has developed an accelerator that warns drivers of hazards on the road by vibrating and pushing against their foot.

The idea is to ensure you get off the gas and on to the brakes before an accident. It works in conjunction with the ContiGuard safety software – employing radar and cameras to predict imminent collisions, or tell if you’re too close to another car. The set-up can also be used to persuade owners to drive more economically.
