French giant Peugeot has created a new type of blue badge for its cars!

To help buyers spot its most economical models, the firm has developed a Blue Lion range. Vehicles in the line-up meet certain criteria for low running costs: they must return between 56mpg and 64mpg, and emit 109-130g/km of CO2. This means they qualify for annual road tax between £35 and £120, as well as company car tax breaks.

But cutting costs doesn’t mean less choice. The Blue Lion line-up covers models in the 107 range through to the 207 CC and spacious 308 SW.
