Who said small cars can’t be luxurious? This special-edition ForTwo looks set to be the most feature-packed Smart ever.

The new Limited Two is based on the 71bhp Passion, but it’s set apart by a raft of extra equipment and a unique paint finish. The metallic sky blue shade displays subtle silver and beige tones depending on how it catches the light – so it’s effectively three colours for the price of one! Inside, the heated seats are trimmed in cognac brown leather, while the same hide is used on the three-spoke steering wheel, gearknob and edging on the floor mats.

A rev counter, clock and Limited Two badging are also added to the package. In fact, the only extras Smart has left on the options list are electric power-steering, a lockable glovebox and an upgraded sound system.

The Limited Two will be offered as a coupé or cabriolet when it arrives in showrooms on 1 September. And as the name suggests, there’s a small production run – so exclusivity is guaranteed. Prices start at £9,575 for the tin-top and £11,525 for the convertible.
