AA Essentials Valeting range - tested

You would normally associate the AA with repairing or recovering your car when it’s broken down – not cleaning it!

But the company has joined forces with vehicle oil and maintenance giant Comma to launch its all-new Essentials Valeting range. There are six products in the line-up – and first is Wash ’n’ Wax.

Presented in a one-litre bottle, this shifts dirt from all areas of the bodywork, and features an added wax formula to leave a glossy, protective finish.

The Wheel Cleaner comes in a one-litre trigger pack, and dissolves baked-on brake dust and road grime. It’s safe for use on polished, lacquered, painted or bare steel rims. When the wheels are finished, Tyre Clean removes dirt and restores the rubber with a fresh black look.

Fine details make a freshly valeted car appear special, and the Glass Cleaner is suitable for the inside and outside of the windows. Then you can turn your attention to the plastics on the bodywork, plus the dash and cabin, with the Trim Cleaner.

Upholstery Cleaner completes the job, removing odours as well as stains. It works on cloth, leather, carpets and rubber, and leaves a fresh lemon scent.
