The Focus RS is about to make the City of Lights even brighter!

Ford will display the range topping Focus at the Paris Motor Show, and has rubber stamped more details on the fastest production car it has ever made – including confirming that the ‘Ultimate Green’ paint of the concept will be available to customers.

After an ‘extremely positive reception’ to the bright green concept – a hue inspired by the ‘Ford Le Mans Green’ paintwork of the 1970s, as well as the current Focus WRC car – Ford has made good on the promise it made at the British Motor Show to produce the colour if enough asked for it.

Set to go on sale early next year, two other colours will be available: Ford Performance Blue and Frozen White. All three tints can be specified with a blue, green or black full leather interior.

In addition, the latest fast Ford’s peak power is verified at 296bhp, with 400Nm of torque from the 2.5-litre turbocharged Duratec engine. That means the RS will be good for a 0-62mph sprint in ‘under six seconds’ and a top speed of over 160mph.
