The Minor ranks alongside the Volkswagen Beetle and Mini as one of the world’s best-loved cars, and this book traces the Morris’s development right back to its sketched beginnings in designer Alec Issigonis’s notebook. The story is told in captions alongside mainly factory archive photographs. It is a good approach, and Pressnell goes into considerable detail without overwhelming the reader. A fascinating read.
