Eco-Sheen - tested

Waterless wash is beading leader.

A bucket and sponge are too much hassle for some drivers. And that’s where Eco-Sheen’s new Waterless Car Wash will come in really handy.

The aerosol is easy to prepare – all it takes is a few pumps of the handle – and the formula will last for a long time. But the way the wash is delivered could be more precise; we found it easy to spray over unwanted items.

Still, the product can be used all over the bodywork, including the glass and any unpainted plastic – which it left a pleasant finish on. It was even effective on lightly soiled wheels.

Spreading the liquid around with a soft cloth was easy, and it seemed to lift light dirt from the metal. Buffing to a shine took more effort, but this was worthwhile, as it beaded water well. This product does exactly what it claims on the bottle!
