It's the news E-Class fans have been waiting for! Mercedes’ E Class Coupé is ready to hit the road... And our exclusive images show the CLK replacement will be near identical to the concept that inspired it – the Fascination, seen at the Paris Motor Show. The minimal disguise can’t hide the angular design, with sharp creases down both sides plus a rounder outline than the current car’s.
Styling cues will be taken from the latest C-Class range, while the large front grille and tail-lights are borrowed from the CLS. Inside, the new coupé will be a proper 2+2, with more room in the back than the model it replaces.
Engines are expected to be carried over from the C-Class, with the line-up including a new 2.2-litre four-cylinder BlueTec diesel. This delivers 201bhp, and is tipped to be a top seller.
