How low can Citroen go? This is the facelifted C1 city car – and it emits less CO2 than any other petrol model in the UK! Output is down to only 106g/km from the 1.0-litre motor – a drop of 2.7 per cent – while economy is up by 2.1 per cent to 62.8mpg.
Exterior updates are limited to a revised front end with more rounded headlights and a gaping grille – designed to pull the car more into line with the C3 Picasso and C2 supermini.
There’s a new alloy wheel design, while inside are fresh trim materials. This is the latest in a long line of updates: in the past few months alone, Citroen has revised or replaced the C2, C4, C5 and Berlingo Multispace!
Customers can get their hands on the C1 in early 2009. Prices will be announced soon.
