1. Mercedes GLK Urban Whip

Mercedes joined the action at the SEMA Motor Show with this heavily revised edition of the GLK SUV. With an electrically powered convertible roof, the lowered, widened car is unlike any other 4x4 we have ever seen!



 
2. Volkswagen Passat CC

This special edition of Volkswagen Passat CC features a diesel engine that drivers can tuned from behind the wheel. With three modes of operation from eco to high performance it's been built to introduce the idea that modified cars can be green as well as fun



 
3. Toyota Scion

This Mad Max inspired machine has been built for the track, and ibased on a Scion called the Xb. According to rumour, Toyota owned Scion could debut in the UK in the near future.



 
4. Hummer H3

You can run, you can hide... But will you ever be able to escape this tracked version of Hummer's new H3? The makers of these strange looking caterpillar wheels say not... Interestingly, the technology can be bolted straight on, with no modifications required.

5. Chevrolet Camaro

American legend, and muscle car of the moment... The latest Chevrolet Camaro was the subject of many tuning firm's finest work at this year's SEMA show. This model was one built specially by Chevy parent firm GM, specially for the occaision.



 
6. Rolls Royce

This stunning Rolls Royce Phantom Cabriolet had been fitted with huge 30 inch ally wheels and painted with a chrome effect paint. The road legal model had apparently been driven to the show!



 
7. Rolls Royce Silver Shadow

Though this 1970s Rolls Royce may not have had the Phantom Cabriolet's huge wheels, it did have a 1,350bhp 9.3-itre V8 engine... Most of which fitted under the bonnet.
