Dodge's ambitious EV made its public Motor Show debut in Los Angeles. With its 150 to 200 mile range and sub 5.0  second 0-60mph sprint, the firm is hoping that this will be the model that proves the company is not just serious about electric vehicles, but has the capability to produce them as well.

With a top speed of 120mph, the model is not as fast as the Lotus Europa, on which it is based.

The bright yellow model appeared alongside another electric car, based on concept development of the Voyager. Dodge parent firm Chysler says both models are a possibility for sale in the UK, but admitted that the sporty EV was the model drivers were most likely to see first.
