Cheaper new Z’s price is right

Bargain-priced new 370Z has more power and torque than 350Z.

05th February 2009

It's lighter and more powerful than before – and Nissan’s latest Z-car is cheaper than predicted, too. The firm has revealed the new 370Z coupé will start at £26,895 – that’s £2,000 lower than previously thought. As well as weighing 32kg less than the outgoing 350Z, it’s wider and shorter.

Its sportier stance will be backed up by a boost in power to 326bhp, while torque rises to 366Nm. Only three trims are available, and all get a start button, air-con and Bluetooth as standard. The top-spec GT Ultimate costs £31,895 and features suede leather seats and sat-nav. Deliveries begin in July.
