Octavia’s sip for the top

What’s as big as a taxi and as efficient as a supermini? The new Skoda Octavia Greenline!

Debuting at the Geneva show, it features a 105bhp 1.6-litre TDI diesel, with 250Nm of torque. This emits 116g/km of CO2 – meaning annual road tax of £35 – and returns 64.2mpg. Prices haven’t been revealed, but the Greenline is likely to carry a £1,000 premium over the £13,950 1.9 S hatch when it goes on sale in June.
