A bright Spark is grabbing all the attention on Chevrolet’s Geneva Motor Show stand. The General Motors division has revealed the production version of its Matiz replacement for the first time, and it's aiming to offer value and style on a budget.
Called the Spark, the five-door model will go on sale in the UK in January 2010. It's set to rival the Citroen C1 and other low cost city models, and the Chevy will be priced from just under £7,000 in entry-level form. Neat touches include a supermini-SUV style body - although the Spark is front wheel drive - and interior trim that's colour coded to match the exterior.
Before the arrival of the city model, Chevrolet will launch the Focus-sized Cruze saloon in July. Priced from around £11,500, the four-door will be joined by a five-door version at a later date.
