Korean Qashqai set for debut

Ssangyong is planning to unveil a near production-ready compact SUV at next month’s Seoul Motor Show to rival the successful Nissan Qashqai crossover.

Based on this Giugiaro-styled C200 concept, which debuted at the Paris Motor Show last year, the finished article will be almost identical, and feature a new platform with the choice of front and four-wheel drive.

Power will come from a new 175bhp 2.0-litre turbodiesel. Sales start later this year.
