Say hello to the latest addition to the MiTo family! This racy looking machine is a warm hatch model that's set to sit to give buyers a taste of the forthcoming GTA model.

Revealed at the AutoRAI show in Amsterdam, the new model gets a neat bodykit that packs a new front splitter, side skirts and white detailing for the mirrors, roof spoiler and wheels.

Under the bonnet lies a 155bhp 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. When the GTA arrives in early 2010, it'll boast 240bhp.

Inside, there are sports seats and aluminum pedals. It's being called the Veloce at present – but since that denotes a trim level in the current line-up, that badge may change.
