The Subaru Legacy is growing – and here is the picture that proves it! This is the firm’s all-new model (pictured), which made its debut at the New York Motor Show this week.
Fresh from the ground up, the Legacy is 35mm longer, 90mm wider and 80mm taller than the car it replaces. It’s based around the concept seen at January’s Detroit expo, and is more spacious, too.
Power comes from a range of boxer engines, including an R range-topper with a 256bhp 3.6-litre that produces 350Nm of torque. Inside, the Legacy has plenty of kit such as sat-nav and voice command. UK sales should start early in 2010, with prices from around £20,000.
Also at New York were the latest Mitsubishi Outlander – with an Evo-style grille, just visible in our blurred pre-show teaser shot – and the Hyundai Nuvis compact SUV concept.
