Working away at stubborn marks on your car can be hard going – but the Sonic Scrubber Pro Detailer takes over for you. The powered tool now comes with new heads and a rack to keep everything in place.

We’ve tested the Pro Detailer before, and the new version impresses just as much, particularly when shifting brake dust. The three heads include a soft bristle brush, which we found ideal for cleaning delicate areas such as the interior, where it removed dried-on grime without scratching surfaces.

A firmer, cone-style head proved perfect for lifting brake dust from the join between alloy wheel spokes and rim. The medium bristled large brush was more of an all-rounder.

The new set isn’t perfect, though – while the stand keeps all the heads tidy, and makes storage easy on a garage shelf, they’re a loose fit. So, when we moved around the car to work on different areas, they fell out all too easily.
