Defender ready for Chinese bow

12th June 2009

There’s no chance of the Land Rover Defender getting a lukewarm reception when it enters the Chinese market for the first time with this pair of special editions!

The Defender Fire and Ice have two-tone colour schemes: black with orange or white. Only 850 will be produced, and they will give Chinese buyers their first taste of the rugged SUV.

Meanwhile, prices for the revamped Range Rover, due in September, are out. The Vogue V8 diesel is £64,695, the TDV8 Autobiography diesel £75,695 and the new supercharged 5.0-litre V8 petrol in the same trim £79,995
