Leyland Magical History Tour

One of the birthplaces of Britain’s motor industry is reclaiming its past and opening it up to tourists.

The Lancashire town of Leyland, which gave its name to one of the greatest car makers of the 20th century, has created a heritage trail linking all its automotive landmarks. British Leyland’s famous North Works is now home to the Leyland market, while the South Works factory houses the British Commercial Vehicle Museum.
