UK motor show is go

The first ever Midlands Motor Show is set for success

Car fans in the Midlands are about to get their very own motor show. More than 30 brands will exhibit at the first Midlands Motor Show at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 1-2 August. Stars will include Vauxhall’s Insignia VXR, and the new Coupé from Norfolk-based sportscar firm Breckland. 

And the event is not only drawing locals. Organiser Roy Bird said: “Tickets have been snapped up by visitors from as far away as the Lake District, Suffolk and Yorkshire.” 

Other attractions include drifting, a 4x4 course, a charity auction of car-related gear and a test drive facility.
