ONE of the UK’s biggest names in off-road racing will be announcing it’s future model range at the forthcoming Midlands Motor Show.
Bowler Offroad, the makers of the famous Land Rover Defender-based Wildcat, will be displaying its new Nemesis racer, built specifically for the mammoth Dakar Rally.
Based on the already-powerful Range Rover Sport, the Nemesis uses a completely redesigned shell made from carbon fibre and hi-tech material Twin-tex, and a highly tuned 4.4-litre V8.
But 4x4 fans who visit the show will also be able to find out more about the firm’s plans for an all-new model, the EXR – which is currently undergoing prototype testing. And race nuts won’t be disappointed either – as the firm’s Rally4Life team for the 2011 Dakar rally will be announced too.
They will be raising money for water aid charities Just A Drop and Feviva.
The Midlands Motor Show takes place at Ricoh Arena in Coventry on from 1 to 2 August. You can find out more about the 40 exhibitors at the independent event at www.midlandsmotorshow.co.uk, and download vouchers for discounted entry.
