We were the first magazine to give you a glimpse of the new Kia Venga supermini last week.
Now, Auto Express can show you official pictures of the interior and rear of the new star. And a spokesman for Kia promised that the Venga cabin will have “more of a premium feel than we have ever seen before on our products”.
He added: “It’s the first interior that’s entirely the work of design boss Peter Schreyer, and has a family look.” The Venga gets a V-shaped centre console with a big multifunction dial.
A large storage area ahead of the gearlever will house two 12V charging sockets, allowing devices such as a mobile phone and sat-nav to be powered up at the same time. An MP3 input is located in the same place.
But the car’s cabin won’t only be plush – Kia says it will also be ultra-flexible. The newcomer gets a split rear bench seat that slides and fold flat. The Venga is due to go on sale next year.
