Focus RS gets power boost

Ford RS specialist gives the Focus RS super-hatch a 40bhp increase

Ford Focus RS

21st August 2009

One thing the Focus RS has never lacked is power! But that hasn't stopped Ford RS specialists Graham Goode Racing from squeezing an extra 40bhp from the 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbocharged engine, taking the tally to an incredible 340bhp sent through the front wheels.

Consisting of an ECU upgrade, deveoped by engine chipping experts Superchips, the conversion is covered by a 12-month, 30,000-mile breakdown warranty. But the best part is that existing RS owners can experience all this extra power for just £435 including VAT.

Keep your eye on autoexpress.co.uk in the coming weeks for our exclusive first drive of the 'RS 340'.
