Caterham R500 honoured with Lego replica

Top Gear's Car of the Year gets special treatment after being transformed into small scale model at Legoland themepark.

25th August 2009

Say hello to the smallest Top Gear set ever assembled. After recently winning Top Gear’s coveted Car of the Year award, the Caterham Superlight R500 has been honoured by having its very own scaled-down Lego model built.

Creators have also built models of all three presenters plus the Stig, to huddle around the car as part of the scene which is on display from this week at the Legoland themepark near Windsor in a special motorsport-themed area.
