BMW at Frankfurt

Visitors to the BMW stand in Frankfurt were spoilt for choice. Alongside its futuristic Vision EfficientDynamics concept (see our exclusive AE video), the German giant displayed its new 5-Series Gran Turismo and its entry-level off-roader, the X1.

And once the formalities were out of the way, the firm even turned its stand into a giant scalextric. Its range of new cars and a selection of classic models were driven around the galleried walkway and banked staging when its sleek hybrid model had been unveiled.
