CLEAN and green are the real buzzwords in the world of motoring.

Hardly a week passes without the unveiling of a new ‘stop-start’ model or other hi-tech development that promises better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions.

But which of these newcomers is the real deal for you, the motorist – and the planet? That’s the question we are asking Auto Express readers to answer in our Green Steering Wheel poll.

Each of the contenders is a significant eco development in its own right, whether it’s a new hybrid, a stop-start system, a greener tyre or an engineering technical development.
