Not bad

After having advertised my Land Rover Freelander 03 plate for 4 weeks and having only received 2 calls and 1 viewer of the car (time wasters on both occasions) I turned to a number of online sites. I've spent money on AutoTrader.co.uk and ebay too. I've even tried advertising in local papers. What at waste of time and money. Having tried several of the online sites I found webuyanycar.com (despite their awful, most annoying advert) to be the easiest. Their valuation was similar to the others and not far out from what I had advertised the car for. It was a fairly painless process - I took the car to my closest one and after the guy looked round it we agreed on a price (slightly lower than that received online because of a small dent on the wing). But all in all it was okay and the money was in my account 4 days later.

Ideal if you just want rid

I just needed to get rid of my old alfa romeo that I had owned since new. As I had no interest in buying an over priced car and pretending that the dealer wasn't making on both my car and the forecourt one as I was getting a company car, it was actually ideal for me. Served its purpose.

I'd been trying to sell my Golf VR32 for ages due to a new job and a company car but all the VW dealers didn't want to know unless I wanted to part-exchange it for something else. Tried the local paper, but the thought of letting some of the characters who rang up take it for a test drive made me really nervous, then I read about webuyanycar on the VR32 owner's forum and a few people on there had sold their car to webuyanycar for a good price so I gave it a whirl.

Price quoted was much more than the VW dealers were insulting me with and for an extra £20 for a fast bank transfer, I got the cash next day. I've got to say they did look at the car very carefully and picked up on a couple of tyres that were ready for replacement plus an alloy that got kerbed when I ducked to the side of the road to let an ambulance past but all in all a great service and I even got a cup of tea whilst I waited.

I've seen a lot of people moaning about webuyanycar in the online forums saying they can ge more selling privately but having been there, done that and read some horror stories, I'd go with these guys again.
