New Nissan Micra

Take a look at the new Nissan Micra! These two official sketches reveal that the new model takes on a more stylish exterior compared to the slightly awkward, bulbous Micra on sale today.

Designed as a car to be sold cheaply all around the world, the new model, known as a global compact car, will keep the simple front-engined, front-wheel drive set up of current Micra's.

Staying true to the 'global' part of its label, Nissan has announced that the new car will first be launched in Thailand in March 2010 and will be available in more than 150 countries.

A range of fuel efficient engines will power the new Micra, including a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel.
