New Fabia uncovered

Look, no camouflage on facelifted Fabia out testing

09th October 2009

It’s the shape of things to come from Czech car maker Skoda.

Our spies have snapped this facelifted version of the popular Fabia supermini testing under the cover of darkness.

Finished in white, engineers obviously felt safe driving the cars uncamouflaged – but they weren’t banking on our spy photographer’s long lens. As a result, our shots reveal a
more aggressive front end with slimmer headlights – as well a set of redesigned foglamps.

Elsewhere, side and rear panels are unchanged. Power will be from the 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrol powerplants currently offered in the range, along with 1.4 and 1.9-litre diesel units. The new 1.4-litre 80bhp economical Greenline engine will also be available.
