The fruits of the Fiat-Chrysler tie-up were there for all to see at Detroit – in the shape of this compact hatchback.
It’s basically a badge-engineered Lancia Delta with a revised front end that features the Chrysler grille. Based on the Fiat Bravo, and already sold in Europe (though not the UK), its bold styling is expected to appeal to American buyers. There’s no word on the official name for the model, but it should go on sale in the US later this year complete with turbocharged petrol and diesel engines.
Also on Chrylser's stand was the sporty 300S – which features a blacked-out grille with chrome surrounds and body-colored accents. The mirrors are body-colored and the headlight bezels are darkened and there also 20-inch wheels.
The S model is available in both 250bhp 3.5-litre V6 and 340bhp 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engines.Â

Very disappointed that Chrysler have not got the 300c convertible on show... it also looks like the yanks are getting the U.K. trim at last on their cars.
Now that Lancia and Chrysler are under the same boss hopefully it will improve both ranges. The 300 is getting a bit old.
Chrysler are "ailing", and I can see why. This is unattractive and wont sell. Goodbye Chrysler.
