Take a look at the new Subaru Impreza XV... almost. The Japanese firm has announced that a new crossover version of the Impreza will debut at the Geneva Motor Show- although there's no official pictures just yet.
But, judging by the newcomer's description it will look a lot like the car pictured here- the America-only Subaru Outback sport.
Fresh styling details for the XV include newly designed wheel arches, a set of roof rails and a rear spoiler.
The crossover will be available with a 2.0-litre petrol engine or a turbocharged boxer diesel engine from summer this year.
Also on the Subaru stand at Geneva will be the firm's Hybrid Tourer Concept and the Plug-in STELLA- a production electric vehicle launched in Japan last year.

The hatchback Impreza has never looked right, the saloon they sell in North America looks much more the part. It could sell ok as a sensible family car too but in these times of watching the pennies they just don't do the MPG to compete.
