If you didn’t think the Citroen C3 Picasso was funky enough, feast your eyes on the new AirCross! This special, toughened up version of the acclaimed supermini-MPV is equipped with a raised ride height and plastic wheelarch extensions to help tackle the rough stuff.
There’s a new grille and revised bumpers with matt finish scuff plates, while side skirts sit below unique door decals. Roof rails reach all the way down to the bonnet, and the spare wheel is mounted on the back, in old-school 4x4 style. It will also run on E85 bioethanol, and is on sale now – but sadly only in Brazil!

More vile than the first version, more cheap French tat bought by people with no taste!
I have to admit i have growing admiration for the citroen brand and its latest and greatest product line. However, this i feel is a step backwards. A great deal too much going on in the front 3/4, not particularly helped by the choice of light launch color depicted. I can safely say i don't think this vehicle will be missed in the UK marketplace. Eat your heart our Brazil.
Fords World Rally drivers wish they were driving Citroen's for the last 6 years, and American Goverment money has kept Ford
or as they are commonly known, Dagenham Dustbins, in business, sorry Americans can't make cars...

Is nasty a description of the car or the comment? Since this car is built in Brazil, the changes from the original are entirely a the work of the Porto Real company and it will be sold exclusively in the Panamerican market, how can it be cheap French tat? As for it being bought by people with no taste, you insult entire continents. Nasty indeed.
Whatever makes you feel so superior?
Quote, from AutoExpress (which surely must be correct!):
"Ford's range of efficient EcoBoost engines was developed in partnership with PSA..."
PSA? Oh yes, that's Citroen, so tell me again how being 'French' makes this so nasty? There was an 'off-road' version of the old Xsara Picasso, with the same minimal differences to the standard road car. I don't particularly like the concept (who really needs an off-roader?) or the look of this beast, but if other people do... The newly launched Focus looks fine to me, but that's entirely a matter of personal taste; I like it, plenty of people won't. If you don't, then don't buy one.

How can you criticise Citreon when Ford make the worst cars available. Only brainless types could find anything interesting about Fords. Ford have always made cars that were intended to be driven by people with "no taste"!
citroen5947 - We'll clearly we our both influenced by what we drive, however they have not been refered to as 'Dagenham dustbins' since the 80's! As far as I know they only make the Diesel engine there now, which is a fast and very efficient unit. Where though are Citroens in dealers league tables? At the bottom next to Peugeout, in reliabililty surveys they come out bottom too. Yes they do well in Rally but that does not filter down in to good cars that have great build quality or reliabilty does it!
Bigbazza(nothing like self promotion is there!) Often it helps if you can spell Citroen before refering to me as a brainless type! Worst car available, so not true but don't take my word for it; Auto Exress, Autotrader, Autocar, etc. Read reviews on; Mondeo, S max, Kuga, Fiesta, Focus and Galaxy. Pretty much all of their line up is number one in their class according to these publications. The new design language is ensuring that, the focus, Fiesta, S-max, Galaxy, Kuga and Mondeo are number one sellers in the class too! Citroens are just rehashed Peugeots which are over priced and less attractive than Citroen ('the value brand' as they like to be known) if you've wasted you hard earned on a badly styled, unreliable car good on you.
I also note the 'people with no taste' comment - do people that buy French crap get dressed in the dark, you all wear cheap market clothes and have bad shoes, also your personal hygene is questionable too; you generally have bad teeth and grotty looking hair? You generally look a bit simple too, but then that would explain why you buy a car that is laughed at by the press, the motor industry and your neighbours. Hey as long as you are happy driving around in your 'smiley faced retard mobile' who cares ;-)
Ironic - point well made, the PSA HDi unit to be fair is good, to now know it was developed with Ford Motor co explains a lot! The Nasty bit was the styling, but to be fair their electrics and build quality is rather poor too. Perhaps Ford can help them with design, electrics and build quality too?

Thanks, you've outed yourself as a troll. I'll know not to bother reading what you write in future.
Sorry, must come back on this one, first let me say I have own a property in Boreham Essex, where Fords WRC team were based till recently, also that is 30 mins from Fords Dunton research centre, and 1hr fro Dagenham, yes you are right they make diesel engines there now, PSA diesel engines, I have friends in Dunton and Dagenham still,, But I have a property in France and my main residence here in Valencia, yes where the Focus is made. So what you ask, well the Magazines you quote and the sales figures are of no importance, these mags are for British consumption, read the Auto Bild in Germany or Auto Plus in France and so on and you will see a completely different picture, as for consumer satisfaction surveys they say only 2% of car owners ever complete them, so they are as reliable as an Afghan election. You will next be quoting a town in England where Fords sell well, we live in Europe, PSA sell more cars than Ford, in fact most observers say they will overtake VAG into top spot in the not to distant future. And before you say Ford sells more cars in the world, I live in Europe, the biggest selling car in America is a pick up, that sums them up, cross to Asia Toyota is the biggest, say no more.
Now me, I have driven in 21 countries in 2 yrs, from crossing the Arctic Circle to the Sahara Desert, Egypt all in my C5, your Ford i'm affraid would have been beached many times, you cannot alter the ground clearance, also in Europe, africa and Aisa I travel
at speeds of 85-90 mph you get a punture in your Ford you are a dead man, you may say we can't do those speeds in England, then I suggest you put 4 mates in your car fill the boot and your car will handle like a pig, the Citroens computor will work out the weight and keep the car level and the ground clearence you programe, you do not need a jack, the car jacks itself up, I could go on, one last thing, you said Citroens Rally success is not passed on, well I have flappy padel gears and electronic gear box and many other things passed down, I've said enough, except the Focus RS is not a bad car, just give it Citroens Active Suspension...Bye
