It’s a natural fit! Milanese fashion label Diesel has tailored a special edition of Fiat’s soft-top 500C. The specialist in urban streetwear has stitched together a mix of stylish enhancements, similar to those on the hard-top 500 by Diesel.
They start with a Satin Chrome finish on the car’s 16-inch alloys and exhaust, as well as the interior trim detailing and dash. The seat upholstery is a denim-style cloth with yellow stitching, and there’s a subtle logo on the driver’s chair.
Other changes include the addition of a chrome gearknob topped with Diesel’s Mohican design, and mesh grille imitation air intakes on the B-pillars and at the end of the rubbing strips.
Engines are unchanged from the current line-up, although the 1.4-litre 16v is the only model to get eye-catching yellow brake calipers and a six-speed manual box.
The car went on sale in Europe last week, and is due in UK dealers later in the year. Prices should range from around £15,000-£17,000.
